CLIMATE CHANGE

Every day, there is to know all the damages that the planet is suffering, but we will not take importance. With regard to this, it should be otherwise take too much attention because the planet is us, "our lives." I think if each of us becomes aware and only once a day turn off the lights that are not used, it would be a great help for the planet as we are not one hundred people if millions that with this little help we would be giving our planet a little appreciation of all that He gives us because we destroy little by little with the daily consumption, with different patterns of pollution that we as human beings produce.

Marriage

Marriage is a promise that you make to God and also to the person that you love. This promise involves many things such as love and help in the good and bad times, also the fidelity to your partner. Marriage sometimes could be difficult, but the most important thing in it is communication; both persons should be able to tell what they like and don’t like. I think marriage is beautiful because you get to share a lot of good times and memories with the person you love. Marriage will make the two people become one, and as one they will be able to make their dreams come true.

The Amish

Amish people come from Switzerland. They migrated to the USA in the 1700s. They are Christians and hard working people, most of them work on farms. Their goal has always been to main the simple farming life that they had in Europe. They avoid the use of modern technology. They are considered reclusive because they live separately from other people. Men dress in dark suits and wear full bears, while women wear plain long dresses and head coverings. One very important Amish custom is adult baptism. Through this, a person becomes a full member of the period before baptism is known as “Rumspringa”, which is mans running around. The bonds of family and religion are very strong.

METAMORPHOSIS

This is a story about a guy named Gregor that turned into a cock roach. He lived with his family (mom, dad, and sister). One morning, he wakes up feeling a little weird, his legs were weak, his voice was strange and he was brown. This metamorphosis made a big change on his life. His family was scared of him and they didn’t like him very much because he was a cockroach. Now that he was an insect, his family didn’t take care of him, day a day Gregor felt lonely, became depress and eventually died.

This is a sad story because a change happens to Gregor and that he didn’t even want. His family rejected him because of that; and he end up aging. His family should have supported him even though he was a cockroach.

Tourism i Antarctic

The impact of the tourism in reality is good if it is seen from the viewpoint of that people who benefit through tourism. They are families that depend on tourism. Many scientists think that we should stop the tourism in the area because they make a lot of pollution. I think if we will find a solution for this problem with equilibrium, we can continue to enjoy Antarctica.


I do not know how this issue will stop, but I hope it’s the best decision for the environment and the people who depend on the tourism in that region. I hope someday to be in that wonderful place and be able to enjoy the wonders of this place.

Gender

I think the relationships between men and women need to involve one another; in the past, we had found a stereotype of male dominance. Now, in our society we have proof of this problem.
Currently, we find different kinds of thoughts between men and women. Time has changed and now men and women are treated more equally, but at the same time men and women have a different point of view or thought about things. For one thing, men are more liberal in certain ways; the women are more reserved. Also, women have more benefits then men in some ways such as laws protecting then men and also they usually have a sixth sense about things. I think the men and women is the best complement in the world.
